Repatriation
“Up in the clouds on my way to unknown things”
Repatriation is the process of returning human remains to their country of origin, home or citizenship, to their eternal resting place.
Returning the remains of a person who has died abroad is a difficult process, whether it’s to or from Ireland.
With so many people travelling frequently for holiday or living oversea, it has become a large part of the service we provide.
It’s a complex, demanding process which needs meticulous planning as there are many authorities involved in different countries: co-ordinating with the Coroner, Department of Foreign Affairs, Embassy Counselor, Airlines and many more to guarantee the process runs smoothly. We organise all the documents and legal requirements that have to be adhered to.
